GTA IV... Best Game To Come Out In The Past 10 Years?

IGN sure seems to think so by giving the game a perfect 10/10! The game is going to be released in less then 4 days, so fans get up and go pre-order it for your Xbox 360 or PS3 now!!! MTV News Interviews G-Unit on the Young Buck Situation

Things are really starting to heat up! If you ask me, the situation is being blown way outta proportion. I'm sure the Unit and Buck could come to some kind of an agreement behind the scenes. Seems like some free publicity for the Unit's upcoming album, Terminate On Sight.

Honestly though, this seems pretty serious. And it doesn't make sense for them to actually beef. Young Buck benefits from being in G-Unit because of the name power. At the same time, G-Unit benefits from having Buck on their songs because he is arguably the strongest member talent wise at the moment. Yayo and Banks haven't been doing shit for years.

We'll find out soon if they squash the beef, or if Buck has to do a 300 Bars Part 2 on their ass!

50 Cent to Push Back The Game's Album?

"I don’t think there’s anyone that would legitimately look at him like it’s a competition"

The stage is set for the The Game's "L.A.X."to take on G-unit's latest album this June 24th. According to 50 Cent, it's not.

"There are certain time periods," 50 explained. "[That’s] the last date you can send [albums] to Germany, France and Switzerland. That’s the date we have, that’s why Nelly's and Game are on that date. They all will initially try to make it around that time to get all of those [albums] shipped everywhere and promoted everywhere. But, to be honest they need to concentrate on making the right material because if you don’t have the right record you could rush it out and just really flop."

Tony Yayo Speaks On Young Buck And Reveils Info On T.O.S.

Rock The Bells 2008 Unveiled!

"The 2008 incarnation of the popular Rock The Bells hip-hop festival has been announced.

Headliners this year will include A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Mos Def, De La Soul, and Rakim, amongst others. Also on the bill will be a fully reunited Pharcyde, along with underground favorites Murs, Immortal Technique, Dead Prez, Kidz In The Hall, Method Man, Redman, Spank Rock, Santogold, Kid Sister, Wale, Flosstradamus, Jay Electronica and The Cool Kids and the Wu-Tang Clan's own Raekwon.

Hosts for the festival will include B-Real of Cypress Hill and Supernatural.

The 2008 Rock The Bells International Festival will kick off on July 19th in Chicago. This will also be the first year that the festival will provide "global outreach" as it will eventually make four stops in Europe and one in Japan after the conclusion of the North American tour.

Pre-sale tickets will be available May 14th - 16th via www.guerillaunion.com, and then to the general public on May 17th. Exclusive LA pre-sale starts on May 7th-9th with on-sale to follow May 10th.

Internal Struggles... Young Buck vs 50 Cent?!

As you all probably heard 50 Cent had recently booted Young Buck from G-Unit (the group, not label people!). Why you ask? Because recently 50 has not been happy with the moves Buck has been making. Buck's been making friends with some of 50's enemies and Curtis is not liking that. So he decided to "expose" Buck. After more then a week of silence Buck had finally released a track speaking on the situation. Listen to it here:

Now 50 strikes back going harder then last time treating it like if he was taking shots a Fat Joe...

"I knew he was gonna do that," 50 reiterated on Sunday on the Brooklyn set of the G-Unit's videos for "I Like the Way She Do It" and "Rider Pt. 2."

"Well, Buck, he doesn't think very clear," Fif added. "He has things to help him not think clear — not using a sober mind when you're doing things. I knew he would do that first, because he felt if he mentioned the things that people said he did in a song, it would defuse [perceptions of him]. He said, 'Yeah, I sip syrup. Yeah, I did this. I did things wrong.' If you say it in the music, [the fans] can accept it, because they had stars prior to this use drugs. They don't have a problem with Amy Winehouse. There is a lot of other rock stars who use drugs and sh-- like that. I don't see how they would feel that that's unacceptable. Some of their favorite rappers are sipping syrup. Me, personally, I don't do it. I'm getting high off the situation of accomplishing my goals."

Since MTV News broke the story of 50 and the Unit's justification of Buck being dismissed from the crew, hundreds of readers have written in to MTVNews.com with their opinions. One fan named ladyrock5 said, "50 Cent is real wack right now. If your boy had a drug problem, why [are] you in the news using that against him? If he was really your man, then you would be trying to help him."

The G-Unit General answered that question on Sunday. "If you got a person — you got a grown man — that person has to hit rock bottom before he decides that he actually wants to get help in some way," 50 said. "I'm not gonna allow myself to hit rock bottom with him while he says that. The same fan just looks for a reason for something to be wrong with the decision [to remove Buck from G-Unit]. You got all these people [saying,] 'Where's Buck? Where's Buck?' Why you didn't buy his last album? You would know where he's at if you bought his last album. You would put him in a different space and situation."

50 feels he's partly to blame for the rift between himself and Buck and even Game. What is the Queens icon's biggest misstep?

"I blame myself for overextending myself," he explained. "I didn't have to treat them like they family."

Oh yeah I went to UFC 83 and of course this event also sparked a huge surge of energy in Montreal that Saturday night. 22,000 people were packed into The Bell Center chanting G-S-P and Booing Matt Serra. I must say I respect Serra for coming out to Quebec (Georges St-Pierre's home) and getting his ass handed to him. Also The first bit of MTL riot carnage happened this weekend. 2 out of towners thought it was cool to scream out racist remarks to a crowd of black kids...

Wu-Tang!!! The Killa Bees Swarmed Montreal!

Finally the long awaited concert of the city went down last night at Metropolis and I feel so bad for those of you who missed out on this show for whatever reason... whether it was because you couldn't get tickets (cuz it was sold out) or because you had to study for your exam you had the next day. Everything about the show was amazing even the opening act by Montreal's very own D-Shade, accompanied by Narcycist and Velvet Trench Vibes. It's safe to say that Metropolis was the place to be that night... They left the crowd begging for an encore and for autographs. Even though Method Man, Ghostface and RZA couldn't make it, the remaining crew held it down digging into their discographys for them golden tracks. GZA the Genius even confirmed that he was coming back to Montreal once again in the summer. So all you Killa Bees get ready for that! Its gonna be a hot summer! Wu-Tang set Montreal on fire!!!

Montreal has been goin crazy this past week and yesterday just set it off! The Habs won the series against Boston ending the game 5-0. The result... Drunken Quebecers rioting in the streets! Either way it was bound to happen. Win or Lose the city was gonna go crazy and the Wu-Tang fans didn't help the situation either, it only unleashed 2000 killa bees onto the streets of Downtown Montreal to cause even more havoc. You gotta love drunken montreal crowds!

The Alkaholiks In The House!!!

Yes the show was more then a week ago and yes you fools did miss out! It's a damn shame because they rocked the mic man . Tha Liks really know how to put on a show! Incase you dont know about Tha Alkaholiks, they're a group from Los Angeles, California from the early 90's and they on some of that real Hip Hop shit. They're a 3-man group consisting of Tash, J-Ro and E-Swift (their DJ/Producer). For a group who never really made it mainstream I must say they know what they are doing. Big ups to Tha Alkaholiks for comin to Montreal and holdin it down. And of course big ups to Escape Entertainment for planning this show (we'll have more on Escape Entertainment in the future). For all those who went to see T-Pain at Metropolis instead of Tha Alkaholiks at Saints... I'm extremely dissapointed. I even heard that T-Pain put on a bad performance... Too much talking. Hahaha... Our First Post

As our first offical blog post I've decided to tell you all about the past two weeks. But before I get into that Id like to tell you what this blog is all about. First off we're from Montreal, Canada the most exiciting city in North America. Our city is pack with so much hidden talent and fun that I feel as though I need to help expose this to the Internet and this is what we plan to do, but before we can do that we need to show the world that we are capable of writting a blog. So we are going to start this off as a Hip Hop/Urban news blog. We are going to fill you in on the hottest Hip Hop news, talk about event and concerts we've been to and of course tell you about your favorite artists.
